This book is really cute and a perfect way to easily build your vocabulary. I took French for two years and while I’ve lost a lot of my spoken French, I can still read it and understand it. The structure of the book is great for picking up new words without feeling like you are drilling and memorizing vocabulary. The stories are short and really sweet and cute to read. I like how the new words are highlighted and the definitions are given right away instead at the end of the story.There is also a writing prompt after which is really helpful to summarize the story in your own words and forces you to put the new vocabulary into use immediately. This book is definitely for intermediate learners but it’s not too difficult and I think the stories are the appropriate length so you learn a lot but don’t get overwhelmed too easily.The eBook also comes with a link to download the MP3 files which is great. And it comes with a slow version for beginning listeners as well as a faster one to help practice your listening comprehension. Overall I think this is a great product to enhance your French studies.
