Brooks Women's Ghost 13 Neutral Running Shoes - Lightweight Cushioned for Road Running, Jogging & Gym Workouts

I bought this shoe July 2021. It is now 14 months later, and these shoes are going strong. I don’t work out or run, I bought these shoes for my job that I’m on my feet all day, and I’d buy them again in a heartbeat. They’re not as pretty, that’s for sure, but that are as structurally sound as the day I put them on. I would DEFINITELY buy these again, even though I never usually spend more than 30 dollars on a pair of shoes. This is definitely money well spent!I have narrow heels and bunions, so finding a shoe that provides adequate room through the ball of my foot where my heel doesn't slip up and down had been a challenge until I found Brooks shoes many years ago. I have purchased a number of different Brooks styles over the past 40 years, but found that the Ghost style works best for my feet.I've never been disappointed with the Ghost Running Shoes. I think I've got about 6 pair of these in different colors. It happens to be all I wear because I've got foot pain from previous injuries and I rarely wear regular street shoes or heels unless it's for some special occasion. BUT there is one thing I take issue with and that is any shoes with the flat laces. I've actually got two pair with flat laces that look and feel great but the laces are the worst EVER because they always come unlaced unless I double tie them. You would think that the company might do something since so many people complain about it.As someone that has repeat stress fractures, I have found that these sneakers provide me with the necessary support. I wear these sneakers as my daily shoes and this is my 2nd pair (each tend to last me about 6 months but I wear them daily and am very active). I got a good deal on Amazon too compared to other sitesMy feet were in a lot of pain. I got these with some heel inserts and my feet instantly felt much better.SO glad I found these on Amazon. The 13's are the only ones that fit my feet. The new Ghost 14 have to tight of a toe box. I will truly miss these when I can't find them anymore :(I’m wearing these shoes at a new job were I’m on my feet all day. From day one, my feet feel just as great at the end of the day as they did at the beginning of the day. I would definitely recommend these shoes.I bought these for my mom to use on her daily walks with my dad. She really likes them.I owned a pair of Ghost 10's, which were a joy to run in. The time came to replace them and I looked at other shoes to replace them with but was still drawn to buying another pair of Ghosts albeit the Ghost 13. I had to wait ages as my size was out of stock. Bought a pair of Saucony's to keep my runs ticking over. Was not entirely happy with the Saucony's but eventually a pair of Ghost 13's were available to buy so I happily purchased a pair. Was not enamoured with the colour but I could live with that! Took them straight out of the box and went for a run. Probably ten minutes into my usual route my right inside ankle started to hurt. I thought carry on the pain might go away as my foot was probably adjusting to the new fit (I so wanted to love these shoes). Twenty minutes into my run the pain was not subsiding but getting worse. Decided to make a short cut and head home. Changed into my spare running shoes and headed back out to finish my run. Pain completely gone! Brooks Ghost 13 returned!These brooks ghost shoes are not fit for purpose . After 230 miles the shoes have started to wear inside and holes are appearing.I have just found out as well that brooks trainers are not allowed to be sold on amazon so I am not covered by the warranty. Do not buy off AmazonWie erwartet ein super Schuh.Ich bin vorher den Ghost 11 gelaufen und war etwas traurig, dass es den Schuh nicht mehr gibt.Aber dieser hier ist genauso gut und hat vom ersten Kilometer genau das gemacht was er soll.Nicht drücken, kneifen oder sonstiges.Er trägt ein über Straße, Waldboden und Schotter überall sehr gut.Von mir eine klare Kaufentscheidung und 6 Sterne ?Noch ein Hinweis, ich trage in meinen normalen Schuhen Größe 37, zum Laufen ?‍♀️ trage ich bei den Brooks 38,5.I have had these shoes less than four months and run approximately 20 miles a week. Both shoes have split and I will now have to pay to replace as you can only return within a three month window with Amazon- I would expect shoes from this manufacturer costing this much to last twice this time. I will not purchase through Amazon a second time.I bought these to replace an 18 month old pair of Books Ghost runners. Was excited that finally I liked the colour scheme. Arrived super efficiently the next day after I'd ordered them - but after a few weeks caused extreme pain in my inside right heel to the point that they are unwearable. I was too slow to return to Amazon within 30 days and Brooks have no interest as Amazon is not a qualified seller of Brooks products. So I am out of pocket with a product that I can't use and back to the drawing board for new trainers. Feel let down by Amazon and also by Brooks who make lots of claims on their website but actually weren't interested in my experience, or helping me to solve the problem.
