I wanted a book that my almost 7 year old can read by herself without feeling it's homework- this one fits the bill. Although it is a bit too easy for her, she loves it and has read it many times since. I think it's not a bad idea to buy a book one level below the one the childen read at school so they feel confident reading it and can just enjoy the story. This one features 4 I think, all very nice and a picture on each page. Highly recommended.
