One of the best composers of this age. I adore Joe Hisaishi and Studio Ghibli. Most of the tunes within this book are from those animated movies, some I had never heard before. The pieces are beautiful and easy to play (if you're advanced). It took me about a month to work through the entire book. The first piece is especially beautiful (Wind of Life). The last piece is Merry-Go-Round of Life and is one of Hisaishi's most interesting pieces ever written. Fantasia is another hit. Lovely, lovely pieces.The last song is written in Japanese and I went nuts trying to figure out what song it was :P. I later found out it was The Merry Go Round of Life song!!! I'm glad it was included and it seems to be the advanced version, I bought a Ghibli sheet music book that included a pretty easy and simple version of the song and was a little disappointed.It includes a lot more songs, they may be less popular but equally beautiful :D.I'm in love with Hisaishi's music and this book is like a dream come true to me :3I love this book! The pieces are advanced and beautiful. The book contains songs from Howl’s Moving Castle, Totoro, Castle in the Sky, and other Studio Ghibli movies.Hisaishi-san is one of my most favorite composers. This book is wonderful and each song is beautifully written. I picked this book specifically for the version of Merry Go Round of Life, but ended up discovering many other songs that I had never heard before but am now in love with :) I hope someday to buy many more of his books.I purchased this for my son as a Christmas present. The music is beautiful. He loves it and I love listening to these beautiful songs.Great (if not a little random) selection of pieces for a medium level player.This music is terrific and playable for intermediate level students. Even if you aren't familiar with the movies these songs come from they are lyrical and melodic.This is a nice collection of piano music. It arrived quickly and is just as described. Die Melodien sind wunderschön, die Stücke untereinander sehr abwechslungsreich, und im Bereich Schwierigkeitsgrad findet sich auch die komplette Bandbreite - je nachdem, ob einem gerade nur nach freiem "Herumklimpern" ist oder man nach einer spielerischen Herausforderung sucht, für die man auch mal richtig üben muss: Ist also für jeden was dabei ;) . Ein paar Jahre Klaviererfahrung könnten allerdings nicht schaden.Ich selbst habe mir das Notenbuch recht spontan zugelegt, ohne groß nachzudenken und ohne die Stücke (namentlich) zu kennen, denn ich dachte mir: Bei Joe Hisaishi kann man eigentlich nicht viel falsch machen - und so wars dann auch. Kann es demnach wärmstens empfehlen - auch wer den Komponisten nicht kennt.Für Freunde des Komponisten bietet das Heft einen schönen kleinen Querschnitt durch dessen Gesamtwerk, Studio-Ghibli-Fans werden übrigens außer "Nausicaä" auch noch die eine oder andere Melodie wiedererkennen (z.B. "The wind forest" aus "Mein Nachbar Totoro" und "Innocent" aus "Das Schloss im Himmel").Good quality. Good printing. But music book came folded and has wrinkled pages. Regretfully I had to return it because it is just not in acceptable condition.De très beaux morceaux de Joe Hisaishi久石譲さんのきれいな曲を弾いてみたくて、口コミで高評価のこの楽譜を選びました。知っている曲はジブリの3曲ぐらいでしたが、知らない曲は動画などで聴いたりしました。私は、ピアノを6年ぐらいしか習っていないので、レベル的には初級に毛が生えたぐらいです。でも、練習すれば形にはなりそうです。どうしても弾けないところは、主音をとって簡単にアレンジして弾いてます。とてもきれいな曲で練習しがいがあります。おすすめです。good
