True accounts of children surviving the Holocaust. These brave young activists saved themselves and so many other lives. The book arrived in a timely manner and was a beautiful book which I promptly gave to my granddaughter.I went on line and found this product within minutes. I Never left home and I never stood in line. I was very pleased when it arrived so fast and the product was exactly as described. I would absolutely recommend this seller due to the outstanding customer service I receivedWorthy. However I did not realize that it's written for a young audience (5th-8th grade) and was published by ScholasticBooks. I applaud the stories, as we all need people to look up to and respect. It's just not a book aimed at adults, unless you are co-reading with your middle-schooler.Thank you for telling these important stories.Purchased for my son to read for school and he said the book was very interesting. My son is a huge Allan Zullo fan. The books are greatAwesome stories for teensBought for child who is going on a school trip to visit concentration camps, but read it myself as well. Once started, very compelling, couldn't stop! A collection of 5 short true stories of youngsters who performed brave duties to protect Jewish (and other) people during WW2. If you have a teenager who is going to visit concentration camps, or learning about them, this is a great read. As it's short stories, it's good even for the more reluctant reader who may feel daunted faced with a longer read. Even the most reluctant reader would, I feel, want to read the whole book, once started. Highly recommended.
