I just recently finished reading Karin's latest book, "Coffee and Peach Cake". To say that I loved the collection of short stories would be an understatement. I've read, Hermann's Ruhe, The Wrath of the North Star and the Tainted Lens all of which I really enjoyed. What I liked about her latest publication was the fact that I could actually sit down with a cup of tea or even a glass of wine, and finish reading a story. My day is pretty busy even though I'm officially "retired". It seems as if there's not enough time in a day sometimes. Anyway, this book gave me a break in my day and for that I am grateful. It didn't hurt that I loved the stories. I could just about envision in my mind the people and places on a personal level depicted in this book. Thanks Karin, you are a great author. Can't wait for your next book.
