I have, and have read the Best American Short Stories from1988 forward. Oddly, my two favorite volumes are 1998 (this one, edited by Garrisson Keillor) and 1999 (edited by Amy Tan). Keillor selected some wild and hilarious stories and Amy Tan chose stories that are more dramatic and thought provoking. These volumes are the ones I most like to lend.
